RATIONALE behind design decisions

graphics

To make the material more engaging and digestible, I've incorporated a variety of graphics. These visuals serve to structure and clarify information, providing learners with helpful context and reinforcing key concepts.

To achieve this, I've my own personal graphic design skills & utilized the generative AI to produce design elements.

pace control by interactivity

This type of module is commonly used for self-guided eLearning.  Consequently, I believe it is instructional designer's job to proactively predict and control the learner's pace.  This control must be intentionally designed and built into the module well before it is delivered to the learner.

Here are some examples I've used on this module:

  • Learners must complete all content on the current slide to unlock the Next button.

  • To prevent users from rapidly clicking through the material and skipping contents, interactions are locked until the narration is complete.
